in May, i met and photographed Kena (the blind and deaf, 16-year-old Min Pin) and her momma. sadly, Kena passed away yesterday with her momma by her side. what a special little soul she was. she had a way of drawing in anyone who met her, including myself and this group of school children from the day…
Many thanks for your condolences. I still miss her everyday and hope to be reunited with her someday. Right now, I’m sure that she is bugging her “brother”, my Golden, Tuck up there.
Many thanks for your condolences and thank you Marcia for these wonderful photos of Kena.
I’m still missing her everyday and routines are never the same. I hope I see her again someday.
My heart goes out to you. There is no replacement for those who we have loved so much that are not with us anymore to love us back. But in our hearts we feel them and the memories we have come back to life. Until the day we are together once again they lay in God’s lap whole and happily waiting for our return.
So sorry for your loss x
amazing tribute Jo! Kena was loved so much!
I feel her loss, just loosing one of my wonderful furry friends myself.
Jo, it is obvious from the photos how much you and Kena meant to each other. The black and white pic spoke volumes…
We don’t lose our pets when they go to the bridge, they are still in our hearts and minds..til you meet again.
What beautiful pictures you took, Marcia. Jo, you know without a doubt how much Kena loved you. You saved her life and the two of you were such a gorgeous pair. You will see each other again one day. All my love!
What a beautiful tribute, Jazz, for both you and Kena. You know how my heart aches for you but remember the wonderful life you gave her. To your friend Marcia this is lovely work and something Jazz (or Jo if you prefer) will cherish forever.
I’m so sorry for her loss…but know that one day they will meet again at the Rainbow Bridge…. Run free Kena! ♥
You could see how much Kena loved you, Jazz. You gave her a great life!
Very sorry for your loss, Jo. Kena seemed like an absolute sweetheart brimming with love.
What great memories, mommy will have with those beautiful pictures. Know that you were truly loved, Kena!
Great shots, Marcia-and what a beautiful memorial. My sincere condolences to Jo. They leave such huge holes in our hearts when they have to leave us, don’t they?
