This photo contest needs to be shouted out far and wide to the media. Maybe a sponsor could step up and help Marcia put together a photo book highlighting these beautiful dogs before they become extinct in this province and even more persecuted elsewhere.

We have a 7 yr old Staffie, Dozer by name, who came to us from the Rolana Kennel. His registration name is Rolanas Karalyn’s Pal.
He is a prince among dogs and a wonderful ambassador for his breed.
Unfortunately we cannot get him to wear a muzzle. If we get one he can’t wiggle out of he’ll tear his face up to get it off. All the neighborhood kids love him and some come over just to play soccer with him. He picks the ball up and leaves when he’s had enough.
We are located in Oshawa. Dozer does not like posing for pictures but he can be tricked.

Great pictures! Thank you for sharing! I too could not believe that Ceasar was not allowed to bring Junior on his tour in Ontario. A man who is trying to help all dogs and their owners to be better citizens. The Ontario government should hang their heads in shame. Good luck to all those who have devoted their time and effort for these beautiful animals.

This is one of your most powerful blogs, yet, Marcia! Thank you so much for giving a voice to the voiceless. I feel so sad for those poor dogs and especially for Ginger. It’s because of the ignorance and cruelty of human beings that these dogs are put in this position in the first place. It’s not their fault! There should be a bill passed to ban stupid humans from being allowed in public places without a muzzle!

Wow Marcia great pictures! What a great event and cause! I hope they change this legislation. Too many good dogs have passed on that didn’t deserve it.
